Our goal is to provide the safest, happiest, and developmentally appropriate environment for your child. All activities are planned based on Flight and engaging with the children and their interests.

In the mudroom, parents are able to follow the learning of the children through learning stories. Close to our hallway door, we have our licencing reports, calendars, routine, newsletter, calendar and menu. In the hallway across from the daycare room, parents will also see a white board for all notes and reminders and a menu board. In the room, we have a white board to keep attendance along with a message board for all notes.

We believe communication between parents and staff is the key to a successful child care arrangement. While drop off and pick up times can be busy times of the day and therefore not always the best opportunity to discuss your child, you are always welcome to request one on one time with staff which can be arranged for a mutually convenient time. We use the application HiMama as a direct line to parents and the staff. On HiMama, you will receive pictures, daily reports, learning outcomes, messages and more!

We offer 2 meals and 2 snacks daily. All meals are posted and rotate every 4 weeks. We offer seasonal menus (fall/winter and spring/summer) and everything is cooked onsite upstairs in the community centre kitchen.

Our curriculum follows several theories, applying them everyday! The children are taught as a whole child not just parts. We work on mind body connections through yoga and meditation. Music is explored and the children are learning tones, music stories and signing songs. Our outdoor time is critical and follows theories of outdoor curriculum to extend the inside learning outdoors!
