Fees:

Full Time Program (7am-6pm)

  • 19 months – 3 years – $1150 (before grant); $441 (with grant)
  • 3 – 6 years – $1050 (before grant); $424 (with grant)

Part Time Program (5 days for 4 hours/day or 2 full days)

  • 19 months – 3 years – $600 (before grant); $345 (with grant)
  • 3 – 6 years – $550 (before grant); $325 (with grant)

Kindergarten

  • Includes all school breaks and pd days – $965 (before grant); $339 (with grant)

Registration Fee – $100

Enrollment

Registration Fee one-time, non-refundable fee $100

Deposit payment of 1 month fees before grant; this is used towards the final month of child care with 45 days notice.

  • Parents will need read over the family handbook to ensure that they understand the policies.
  • Parents must return a completed registration form to the Program Supervisor or Area Coordinator

Financial Assistance

Little Stars is happy to be able to offer the affordability grant to all families with 50+ hours/month. It is divided into age groups and hours.

Toddler (19 month-3 years): 50-99 hours: $255        100+ hours: $709

Preschool (3-6 years):   50-99 hours: $225               100+ hours: $626

Kindergarten children: $626

Alberta Goverment offers subsidy for parents to access childcare. This helps make high quality child care affordable to families that need assistance. The process is easy to do and is done online (paper copies are available upon request). Parents are responsible for handing in subsidy/renewal forms immediately to the subsidy office and providing our daycare with an approval letter. If your subsidy is expired and it is not renewed on time, parents will be responsible for full fees until subsidy approval is provided to our daycare. Family income was increased to $180,000/year.

Withdrawal and Termination

Parents are required to provide 45 days written notice when they withdraw their child. More notice is preferable if the family would like to give it. Upon withdrawal, we will make every attempt to use your deposit towards your fees. If we aren't able to stop payment, your deposit will be refunded to you.

We reserve the right to withdraw a child/family from the program without notice, and no refund of monthly fees, due to the following circumstances:

  • Non payment of fees
  • Continual aggression from a child
  • Aggressive behavior (yelling, belittling, hitting, swearing, etc) towards staff and/or other kids from a parent/guardian (We have a zero tolerance policy)
